someone told me that smelting stop leveling up skills somwhere around after 85 ?
is that true? and u only gain skills from mining veins ? no more from smelting

if i remember right it's closer to the 50 range and then skills just come from mining, and fair warning it's a slow progression since you only get one point for each vein/node of ore you mine
You can get skill ups from smelting gold up until somewhere in the 100s I believe. Not sure of the exact number.

There you go. Gold is the last metal you can get skill ups from smelting. All the others above that look as though they go grey as soon as you learn them.

I think you can smelt gold all the way up to 185, but not continously. You can only smelt Iron to 140, so at 140 you have to mine to get skill ups, then you can smelt gold to get skill ups from 155-185.
