Since I started following this forum I have taken up disenchanting with one of my alts. I leveled his skill to 285 and ultimately will go to 300 so I can DE high level items. I have tended to stick to items that yield greater eternals or illusion dust or greater nethers. It seems like going much lower is less of a return on time invested.

Do you recommend other DE items to go for?

Well i mostly sell vision dust (10g stack average), small radiant shards end the nethers (always sell them in the lesser form)

I buyout on percentless 50 but only from 1g and more

So much depends on your server and faction that telling you what to go for might be a waste of time. My main Disenchanter is alliance and EVERYTHING sells (the last time I did a DE there (before Thanksgiving - I was away), I put up over 300G in mats - when I logged in early this morning, I was 300G richer. On another server, I have a Horde disenchanter - everything came back except Strange Dust and Magic essences.

Not only that, but a lot depends on market availability of disenchantable items. If the only things that are on the AH that will make you gold are things that DE into Soul dust, then Soul dust is where your market should be.

Do a bit of research on how your particular server/faction AH works. You will never be sorry for having invested a bit of time.
