Best Way for a 48 to Raise a TradeFollow

#1 Nov 27 2007 at 7:34 PM Rating: Decent
I started my Paladin a while ago, and being new to MMOs and the like and coming from FFXI, where crafting was so hardcore I never bothered, I never really started any crafts for him. Now I'm ~level 48 and low low low on money.

So, what should I do? Should I pick up mining/skinning and just level in Elwynn or something? I'd rather not do that, but I will if I must.

Or is there a better way?

Thanks!

it was already covered partly in the main forum where you already have this thread, but I would go back as you said and level up mining+skinning and powerlevel it over a weekend and sell everything on the AH.

You don't really have much choice regarding where you'll be levelling the first few skill levels, for mining and skining you have to start with the lowest level area and skin the beasts/mine the copper, though you have an advantage now being level 48 the mobs will be extremely easy to kill and if you have a mount you will be quicker to the mining nodes and you'll find yourself levelling very quickly through the first 125ish skill levels. Good luck, have fun!

Yeah, just do a couple of circles around Elwynn, Redridge, and Duskwood each. That'll take you to 175 and then either Stranglethorn or Arathi for Mythril and you'll be on your way.

..after that lvl your char and mine yourself some thorium in EPL which will net you enough money to consider getting yourself a crafting proff (although i wouldn't recommend that untill lvl 60-70)
