So you're asking us to look for the thread what you can do yourself?

Just scroll back a few pages and you'll find the "lots of money with disenchanting" thread

This Link has info on leveling every profession from 1-300 using the least amount of mats. I believe this is what you are looking for.

For enchanting, you will need to be level 35 (to be able to cap at 300) and have 300/300 to DE anything in the game. I have a level 22 capped at 225/225 and I am able to DE just about anything I have come across and make plenty of money.

Actually, yes.

Forums exist because of an information assymmetry. There are some who have more information and there are some who have less. Those who have more information get to share and tell stories and be cool, while those who have less information benefit from the knowledge that others have.

My thought was that
- somebody who had recently sought/found/used a guide would chime in with a "this was really useful for me"
- somebody would link me to a site they had come across, as the next poster did
- somebody who is more active in the forums would recall a post they could specifically refer me to
- somebody who had taken the time to write a guide would say, "I spent all this time putting this together - check this out"

Is that off base? Am I wrong? I also figured that if somebody didn't have the information or didn't want to share information, they'd ignore the thread and move on. I was certainly wrong there.

The most cost-effective way is never to buy mats. By using enchantrix effectively, you can purchase low-priced disenchantable items, and use the mats obtained to level yourself. Additionally, you will get rich by selling the mats you don't use for leveling your tradeskill.

Being cost-effective is not the same as being time-effective. If you have gold to burn, use the guide that AtrophyGFour posted a link to.
