I have recently made a rogue and picked up jc and mining.
Now i've got to the point where i need tin and silver but i dont know where to find a lot of it. I've tried Hillsbrad and haven't found much tin and i dont have the money to buy it all from the AH.
The question is where can i find a lot of tin to mine?
P.S. im around lvl 28 and im horde.

As a Horde I have always found north Barrens to be decent, particularly where the harpies hang out. You can also go to MapWow and search for tin nodes. For me, tin and silver have never been particularly plentiful and getting leveled up to iron was always the hardest part of mining.

Thousand Needles has plenty of Tin. The pools in the Barrens often have tin. The caves in the south of Silverpine called Beren's Peril frequently have tin.

Thanks for the info. I'll check those spots and see what i can get.
1k needles is the best place. I've leveled multiple miner chars tried different places and still find myself going back to 1k for tin.
I'm surprised you didn't find a lot of tin in Hillsbrad... I was just there last night, and there were a lot of ores.
The mines in Hillsbrad yield a lot. So does the Yeti cave I believe.

The yeti caves contain level 30+ mobs and have more iron and mithril than tin. Hillsbrad has a weird mix of resources because of its broad level range. Horde start there at 20 and alliance at around 30.
I suggest the southern part of the Barrens and Thousand Needles for mining tin with Hordies.

Beren's Peril in the Silverpine Forest is a sweet place for Tin. It's a cave filled with Undead. That's where I mined for tin to get my skills up. I hope that helps.
