When you retrain from axesmithing to hammersmithing or swordsmithing, do you drop to level 300 or stay at your current level?

Current level. Same applies to all tradeskills and all specializations.

Thank you. Looks like all i would have to pay for is training for that particular specialization and the mats to make a particular weapon. Thats what i wanted to hear.

So you have to drop weaponsmith entirely right... can just drop axe to go to hammer?
