So...last night I do my AH scan to buyout for DE. I have been having recent problems with auctioneer lagging out at the end and I get disconnected. It works out, it still updates my data before it does.

Well, it didn't last night. As a matter of fact, it seems to have deleted all my AH data from the last year. I downloaded the latest versions today, got advanced instead of classic (but did replace the Auctioneer folder from classic with the most current) and it did it again. I run the scan, it lags out at the end, I DC and when I come back on there is no list to by and it doesn't have any info on any items.

Any thoughts?

I use classic. It works fine. You might consider switching back.

I was using classic exclusively prior to today and still had these DC problems.

I went into the account folder and removed all the auctioneer info from the Saved Variable folder and it seems to be running find again, albeit without a years worth of info. I guess thats better than nothing. Maybe i just filled up the SV file.

It sounds like the server has seen that you're inactive and booted you. I know that my toon often goes AFK when I'm scanning, unless I'm active on guild chat or something. Presumably, if this happens, it'll boot me if I leave it too long.

If you're getting booted when the AH scan is being written to your database - this happens at the end of the scan and can lag your toon - I'd advise keeping your toon active by using guild/trade/whatever chat while the scanning is active.

A member of my guild recently switched from Classic to Advanced and she reported that there were problems with trying to keep her old database files. Since yours have now gone, perhaps it'll work better now.

Yea...I have a 800Mhz G4 with 640 megs of RAM currently, so lag is really bad for me. I run my Alliance toon in Darnasus since there is never anyone there, resulting in better performance. My undead lock is in UC and I haven yet to find a similiar main city for him to hang out in for scans. I try to jump every so often, especially near the end of the scan to keep from going AFK, but I still had the problems.

Good news is now that I have deleted the files everything seems peachy and I am not getting DCed. I have a gig of RAM coming in the mail soon, so that will be even better.

New thing I noticed. My Alliance list seems ok. My horde list had a bunch of level 20 items and it was giving me a suggest price of 7g on the DE mats. I have held off on buying stuff for him till I figure out where it is getting that info. Any ideas?

And does enchantrix update the values for DE materials based on AH scans or do I need to that manually through the weights screen?
