just a quick question about lw bags, do they just hold leather from skinning or do they hold materials that are use in lw?

LW bags will hold primals and motes in addition to leather and scraps. They won't hold gems, scrolls, potions or cloth.

I have seen that I can put a number of items in my bags.

Basically, anything that you buy from a leather working supplies vendor will go in there (thread, salt, etc.) As mentioned in the previous post, motes and primals will go in there, hides, scales, leathers, scraps. Also, the salt shaker that engineers make for us to make refined deeprock salt will go in it. I can't think of any other items right now...

Anything that can be catagorized under Elemental in the AH will also fit in there. I have Hearts of Fire and Core of Earth stocked in mine for when my wife's rogue hits 45 so I can make her the Helm of Fire. I also keep all of my essences in there as well. I made a bag for my bank alt too so that he could hold all of the motes, essences, and other things like that when I send them to him.

If you ever have a question about if something will fit in there or not, just have that bag in a bank slot, open up your backpack and right click the item. If it is possible for that item to be stored in the LW bag, then it will automatically go to that bag when you right click it at the bank.
