Cost to powerlevel Tailoring to 375? and craft FSW set?Follow

Could anyone please give me a rough estimate of what it would cost to drop Skinning and pick up Tailoring to powerlevel so I can craft my Frozen Shadowweave set? Also the rough cost of the materials to make the set? I'm only lvl 66 so I have some time before I can do it, just wanted to plan ahead. Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly it costs about 500 gold to get to 300. 300-350 I think would be about the same. 350-375 will be expensive...not sure how much though. I'd guess around 1000 gold. Of course if you farm all the cloth the cost will go down about 80%.

I'd say probably in the area of 1000 gold, not so much the cost of the cloth, but the cost of the primals. Unless you have the time and inclination to farm them, its going to run you some serious coin to get from 300 on.

It also depends on your server. Last time I checked, Primals run from 10 - 20g each. You will need those once you hit 350.

that's about 1500gold for the cloth and dusts. Plus the cost to train the recipes and buy threads and dyes and other consumables.

I powerleveled 1-375 tailoring in about 2 days (one 48 hour period) and after farming some materials, buying materials, and farming most of the mats, I came out spending around 1.5k to hit 375. The last 5 points were killer because of all of the arcane dust + spider silk + netherweave cloth.

for me it costed about 3k gold to go from 1-375 and have full frozen shadoweave set. =)

and I bought everything from ah..

If I had chosen another day I'd probably lowered the cost a bit, cause I noticed that it wasnt only me who bought ********* of netherweave stacks, so the cheap one's ran out..

It really depends on how much time you are willing to spend on it. If you buy everything you need off the AH in one day it will cost you 3000+ gold. If you spend a couple of weeks buying up cheap neatherweave and other mats, that will save you hundreds to thousands of gold.

When I did it I also spent some time running low level instances to get the linen, wool, and silk I needed for free. Next I power leveled tailoring up to 350 for shadowcloth. You'll need 26 shadowcloth for the FSW set and that will take you something like 52 days to make enough shadowcloth yourself due to the cool down. I did not make all of my own but any time you can put into that will save you $$ in shadow cloth. Check to see if any guildies have cool downs they will blow for you. It makes a big difference in costs and time.

At any rate I think I got my cost down to around 1000g but I spent 4-6 weeks getting the full FSW set. With the money I had left over I bought the Spell Strike set to go with it.

On my main I had saved almost allthe cloth, especially all the netherweave cloth. After my main reached 70, I could train tailoring on my priest alt from 1 to 374 without spending more than 100g (new patters from trainer, limited patterns, threads, and just a few stacks of netherweave).
Depends on how much time you think you have left until reaching 70, and how patient are you.
The last point has eluded me, I made several Imbued N. Robes that didnt give any skill up. Oh well, one of these days I´m gonna get that point. /shudder

If you're in a good guild you can save money on the outlands cloth. I just asked on our guild forums and ingame if people could start sending me the extra cloth they picked up.

Can't you just make one of the specialty armor items? I'm at 371 and the Spellfire Gloves are still orange to me and probably will be all the way up to 375.
