Mining is so antagonizing. I am a high level with a low level of mining. are there any special places to go to get my level of the art of mining up? I am playing at the moment so time is of the essence...ha ha

Using a epic mount makes it easy, but working the right zones are key. Move up as soon as or just befroe you hit a level, use the charts ... tin at 50 or what ever it is. Wow-Maps works great, and gatherer if you have a guilds file of nodes will speed things along. Why waste time on low level areas anyway? Smelt as many level as you can, then mine silver or Iron.

you don't say whether you are horde or alliance or what level your mining is. If you do not want to go the smelting direction (just buying ore on the ah and smelting it then selling it) then you can run around the starting area (for horde outside of org is great for copper) then just follow as the levels go. I believe mapwow has a listing of where most of the nodes are, you could also check out cartographer + cartographer_mining

Nope - mining is probably the hands down hardest/slowest/most annoying gathering skill to level up. >_<

if you are ally a great place to start is in the fargodeep mine in elwynn

then when you can mine tin go to DM, there will be some silver in there also.

there are LOADS of iron veins in STV.

run around the outskirts of Arathi for a while and you will get a shed load of mithril.

WPL is great for thorium, and so is burning steppes i believe

run around winterspring for a while and you will slowly get upto 300 by mining small/rich thorium.

if you are engineering i suggest you make a mining helm so you can start mining fel iron ASAP.

once you get to 300, the amount of fel iron in HFP is just insane.

hope that helps, if you are horde.....then...i rely dnt know, kinda the same i guess

I am level about 3 mining...haha kinda low. But I am Horde...the one and only best one. The thing is that I have 312 skinning or so and do you think that I should rid of mining or keep it. If so what other proffesion should i do.

if u can be ***** to level it then yes as they amount of money you mkae just from leveling it will make it worth while.

He means Stranglethorn Vale (STV). I don't recommend anyone goes to Shadowmoon Valley (SMV) looking for iron veins - they'll be sorely disappointed.

Try:

Almost Gaming

and

Lootables

They have nice maps :)

Also, your best bet is to go during off-peak hours. Then, you won't be farming the same nodes as everyone else.
