I've been looking for information on this item and can't seem to find anything more than the name of the book. Has anyone found this yet or know where i can go to get it? Thanks in advance

sorry for sounding like a complete putz, but haven't heard about and advanced smelting book, what does it do? I've already ground out my mining to 375, does it just offer new metals to smelt?

Yes, it offers you a new bar to smelt that you can then use in other recipies, which also drop in 25-man sunwell. So unless you're running the highest end content, don't concern yourself with it.
