Anyone else notice this? That sounds awesome. Being a Gnome Mage, this should look really good!

Is that real? That would be awesome!

Also, is it like an actual flying mount, or more like the Broomsticks from Halloween (i.e. a land mount, but it hovers).

It's an actual flying mount. I am totally making one the minute I hit 450 tailoring.

Ha ha. I they should make it so you can only ride it if you're wearing a turban.

Better yet, they should just make you look like that when riding it. Automatically. Not taking off your gear, it just acts a disguise.

This would be great! Is it real? I can't click on the link to see it. Damn firewalls.

Yes, it's real.

Can't you just disable your firewall?

Unfortunately, no I am in the military and deployed right now and they blocked all websites to WoW except this one. They missed one LOL.

Nevermind then, there is a proxy you can download that might be able to get you through. I don't know if you want to do that though. It might now work in your case because it's the military.

I tried that too. They blocked all proxies as well :)

This, as well?

Kewl - never even thought of or imagined mounts for the other tradeskills.

So what should everyone else get?

LW could build themselves some kind of Frankenstien/Golem creature.

BS could build something mechanical too, but it'd probably have to be bulky or tank-like to be different from engineering.

Alchies could just make flying pots.

Chanters could enchant a mundain object (broom or wagon/chariot traditionally) to fly.

Hopefully Blizz will change the mount animation so our toons aren't sitting on the carpet bow-legged with legs dangling below the carpet and with hands clenched in front of them as though holding reins.

Although that would be funny to see. Once. Maybe.

LOL!!! The 'Use' description made me laugh so hard.

Use: Calls forth and dismisses a Magnificent Flying Carpet. This is a very fast rug. This mount can only be summoned in Outland and Northrend.

Be even better if we didn't have to have 450 skill. Engineer's get one at 375 :/

I suppose this would make tailoring at least useful to me since I have yet to find 1 piece of gear worth wearing from tailoring (mines at 359 now).

Blacksmiths should make a tank, that's a ground mount with a turret that shoots critters.

I'd actually suggest he check at http://proxy.org/ as long as it does not conflict with any policies within his unit. If there is any doubt, my advice is to simply not do it however. Having been military myself, I know they have absolutely no sense of humor about violating security protocols.

edit - Oh yeah, one more thing there Failzor. That exe had best not be a virus or malware . Just sayin.

Just take everything else of what he said out of there and don't do it. As far as the Navy is concerned proxies are bad, and they don't like them. If you use one and get busted kiss your account goodbye for at least 30 days. That's my 2 copper.

On topic though, it is kind of neat that we are getting a flying carpet. It seems like it would be a fun thing to have. As for skinners though, if you're a skinner, then you're probably a LW (I know, some people take it just to make money). If you're LW, it'd be really neat if you could make wings for yourself or maybe a glider type mount.
