My next alt is still 71,but doesnt fish,but i thought i'd mention it here to see if anyone wants to test the theory.

Alliance characters actually have it easy, as you have to go to Org. for the same quest chain but you cna leave the area and fish there. It still counts as fishing in Org as well! Made it much easier for my fisher.

For those Horde side trying to get the fishing diplomat achievement my husband taught me this little trick. You might want to grab an underwater breathing potion for this. Run part way on to the Stormwind bridge and jump off the right side. Swim down and hopefully you lose the gaurds at this point. If not a killing a couple of gaurds at lvl 80 isn't too bad even for my priest. Now there is a little alcove and I belive it is on the right side, not in the bridge but right up next to Stormwind. It does count for the achievement you don't actually have to go through all the gaurds this way. Hope this helps!

The fishing diplomat is very easy for horde: go through Westfall to Stormwind harbor, and fish there. It still counts as Stormwind. No one will bother you there. Or .. take the boat from Northernd to Stormwind. That's even easier, as you can fly on the boat then jump in the water in the port. :) Btw, this is the easiest way to get to the king also...

I've been in Ironforge fishing, and i got the achievement after 130 fishes. Also, the one in Orgrimmar, a few hours later, got it in 10-20 casts, while waiting for a raid of allies to arrive to kill Thrall (we knew they were coming and were waiting for them)

Just my 2 cents. If anyone needs Oily Blackmouth, I was out in Azshara shootin the breeze in the middle island over near where Scalebeard(I may be wrong on the spelling) the rare 52 turtle is. and right around his island there is 2-3 Teeming schools of Oily Blackmouth.
