I think it was pretty interesting that Blizz placed Minor Inscription Research at such a low skill level (75). Essentially, anyone level 5 and up with 5-7 stacks of entry level herbs has a shot to learn highly desired Minors. And if they are savvy enough to do so, make a mint on the AH if you know an under represented recipe.
Right now, on my server, the market for some Minor Glyphs is hot with the more popular ones selling for 100-140g (friend was selling out of Ghostwolf at 140 a pop). Those prices will definitely go down as more days/cool downs go by. But for now, while the getting is good, there's a definite chance you can strike it rich.
My question to you is how many inscriptors are you running?
I was only planning to do one until my friend mentioned he was running 2, one on his level 70, and another on a low level toon just so he could get an extra crack at learning Minors. Then he said he might run a third since you could train at level 5.
Anyways, pretty tempting. Level 5 toon, a few stacks of herb = a potential gold machine. Small initial outlay in time to level. A few minutes to buy 6-7 stacks of herb (more time if you want to farm yourself). A few minutes to level to 75 skill.
The gravy train on minors should dry up pretty soon. But with the 20 hour cool down inhibting the speed at which additional glyphs are learned, there will be some window of opportunity to learn something valuable and cash in.
