Engineering 370+ w/o repair bot 110G?Follow

Is there a way to level engineering (goblin) on a level 67 that doesn't have repair bot 110G recipe yet? Looking over the recipes, there are no orange, the only yellow is for a goggle that requires almost 500g worth of mat to make and is BOP, and green just blows for skillups.

Bummer. Was hoping I could make flying mount when I hit 70 and not buy any regular flying mount. Going to pester a lock to summon me up for the schematic farming.

Peh - slight confusion - there's also a scope that the BE archers around mana force...C or D I think...drop that can apparently also skill you up.

Problem is that the drop rate for the scope and the repair bot are less then 1% - I ultimately found it easier to just bite the bullet and grind out the @#$% rifles to ding - seemed to get a point every 4-5 rifles I guess.

You could just wait for the expansion and grind it out on the much cheaper recipes that begin at 350, using Northrend ores you can mine yourself. At level 67 you won't exactly be hurting if you lack max engineering, after all.

That's only applicable if you aren't a dumbass who didn't realize that the level 70 engineering goggles are Sunwell drops that your engineer is never getting its hands on short of pure luck or dropping several grand on the AH.

So yeah, if you aren't that idiot, then by all means just wait the 10 days till the expansion comes out, but if you are that idiot, then waste money making green rifles that are only good for your chanter to DE.
