They can crit too...
Made about 150 of them when leveling my Rogues engineering, and they often crit for 3k-3.5k.
Not to mention that they're instant use, so you can throw them while moving!

Oh nice - didn't notice the instant cast aspect - something fun to throw at a flag carrier then!
