I've been running into some problems with auctioneer lately. It's prices are completely crazy almost all the time.

(I did finish the entire scan, i started a new one by accident.)

Posting upwards of 80 auctions of different items will drive my head up the wall.

I have only noticed that some items do not give me a sell price even though i have been scanning for a very long period of time .

As for mistakes and high / silly prices , i believe its more the fault of gold sellers and the few that are crazy enough to put a 1g item up for 1000g for example just to mess up the pricing for those that use auctioneer or a similar addon.

I quite often spot a low priced item being sold at +999% of its real price , that alone will confuse the hell out of any simple program which will see that and add it into its calculations.

So to answer your question , yes it does drive me crazy as well but its not hard to second guess a real price even when posting a lot at a time.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get rid of Auctioneers Database and just start from scratch?

How often do you scan? I scan once a day, in order to keep the database current. With the new expansion, there may be some re-adjustments in prices (some may even be gross adjustments). For a while, post stuff at what Auctioneer tells you to - adjust only if stuff doesn't sell at the new prices. WotLK presents the us AH vultures an opportunity and a challenge - we really like stable prices, because that makes income easy to predict, but we also like to make lots of gold.

If you're using the newest release of Auctioneer 5.1.3715, your old database is useless. Unless you imported it from Auctioneer Classic when you made the switch.

I also noticed in the photo above that Fixed Price is marked, change it to market and see if the prices are more reasonable.

Yes. You can delete the Auc*.lua files in \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\(accountname)\SavedVariables
