Is the magic number to aim for to DE anything in WotLK 375? Just wondering how high I need to level my enchanter alt. If it is 55 I may just make my DK an enchanter/miner so I don't have to level my lock. The lock is already 300/300 at level 35 though. whats 20 levels and 75 more points?

The few Greens I have gotten need 325 to DE. Not sure on higher level items.

I believe 325 will work for the low level WotLK stuff, but that you'll need 350 eventually.

I'm in the same boat as OP. My current DE alt is a level 36 warrior. The only reason it ever got that high was because they raised the DE cap. I'm going to level a DK specifically to make it my new DE alt. It's a heck of a lot easier than getting levels on my warrior. At a minimum, as soon as I clear the DK starter zone I can get to a major city and potentially train enchanting to 375. Then, with minimal additional questing, I can get to 60 and raise the potential to max 450 (probably won't because I won't need it for DE). Although it will cost me some to level enchanting from scratch on a DK, the time investment will be a lot less than leveling the warrior.

350 for 80 Greens, 375 for 80 purples I think.

Thanks everyone.

I am still torn out of laziness to just make my DK the DEer, but I really need him to be skin and mining to feed my rogue's LW/Engi. Truth be told I don't think it would be too terribly hard to level my lock to 55 in between rest on my rogue.
