You've been waiting for days, almost a week even. You've made your list of what you want, need even. Suddenly it shows up on Group Calendar Northrend Alchemy Research is avaible in 24 hours! D'oh! Twwweeennnntyyyyy ffffourrrrr Hourrrss?!? I can't wait that long.

But you do. Because you have to. So you re-check your list. Last week you got the Elixir of Accuracy! It was good times and you were everyone in the guild's bestest buddy. Of course the luck will continue right?

Right?

The time comes - NAR is available in 2 hours, 1 hours, 30 minutes, 15 minutes, 10, 5, 1 minute!

Crap, where did my Talandra's Rose go? I didn't send them to my inscriptionist did I? Ah well, I waited this long, I can wait til I head out to Zul Drak and farm 4 more.

NOW I've got everything. Let me click on this button and.....

Potion of Speed. That game show loser song - WANH WAnh wanh waaaaahhhh plays in my ears.

Oh, I'm sure someone, somewhere LOVES that potion. They use it all the time. But it seems no one in MY guild does (at least that's what the 3 other alchy's who have it have told me).

And the kicker?

C'mon, all you Alchemists probaly already know this already.

Yup, it's grey.

The feeling isn't as bad as bad as the 2003 Cubs. Or the 1989 Cubs. Or the 1984 Cubs. But it's close.

And at least, instead of waiting 'til next year, I only have to wait 'til next week.

LOL, know where you're coming from, albeit, its those Mysterious Eggs I get from the annoying frog people - last two were yolks. >_<

You may be able to make some money from it, though. It is a staple in most raiding mages' bags, probably a few other classes as well. Check your AH for prices and see if it's worth it.

I got the same potion as my last research result. It's about the cheapest selling of any alchemy product I learned to make in Northrend :(
The money-making with Alchemy seems long gone anyhow. The only thing I bless the powers that be for, are the meta-gems without the cooldown. Because, apparently, the gems that make up those babies are in abundance up north, because they're going very cheap, so I can sell the metagems for quite some profit as an exception to the new rule.
