I asked this question in the shaman forums earlier, but I'm working over the holidays and still havent made up my mind so I'll ask again. I'm planning on making my resto shaman my main raid toon when he dings 80 because my guild is so desperate for healers. I started raiding with him very late in TBC and didn't bother giving him a crafting profession to boost his performance. Instead, I kept him mining/skinning, where he is today.
I like me some casual BG PvP on him and had thought I'd eventually shift him to mining/engineering. But the head gear in the xpac doesn't seem as impressive as in TBC, where it was the best thing going. Part of me thinks the BOP JC trinkets and gems may boost his performance more than the new helm. But I do like the idea of my orc riding around on a tricked out hog and teleporting to gadgetzan and such. So, my long-winded question for you WotLK engineers -- is it worth it?
