Which is why I noted this was probably server-specific. On mine Tin, Iron, Mithril, Fel Iron, Adamantite, Eternium, and Cobalt all sell for *generally* the same amount. There are variations and fluxuations of course, but generally they all go for around 16-20g/stack give or take a bit. Copper gets maybe 4-6g/stack. Silver is usually a bit higher than the rest and Gold [b]ore[b] can net sometimes double that. Lately for some reason Thorium has been almost non-existant on the AH and selling for 50g+/stack when it is there.
By the same token, even undercutting by 5 or even 10%, my herb auctions routinely get returned to me to the point where I don't even bother putting them up anymore.
