Problems with Advanced Trade Skill WindowFollow

Is anyone else having this problem? I notice it especially on my Scribe, it just takes FOREVER to page through my recipes. Additionally, when I do a search, it often doesn't find things that are definitely on the list. The only way I can find them is by switching to the List by Name option and scrolling (very very slowly) through the list.

As much as I have always loved this addon, I finally had to dump it because of the sheer impossibility of sitting around 5 minutes just trying to scroll through my list.

I note that the ATSW hasn't been upgraded since April, and I wasn't having a big problem till the last patch. So that may be the problem. OR it could just be my system.

I miss the ability to queue a bunch of items and to automatically buy mats from the vendor (without having to count how many I need).

Has anyone found another program with these capabilities that works? LOL or if someone knows how to make addons, could you PLEASE upgrade this one?

I use Skillet and ProfessionBook. Skillet is just like ATSW, but ace. I have found that when I open, it takes a second to scan for new stuff, but that might be due to ProfessionBook, which keeps track of your skills on each character and lets you access one toon's crafting while on another.

Hmm. I tried deleting ATSW and installing Skillet about a month ago. Skillet ... didn't seem to do ANYTHING. Basically I ended up with the usual Bliz interface. No sign that Skillet actually existed. Not sure what I might have been doing wrong.

I had the same problem with ATSW, which is why I switched to Skillet. There are a lot of comments about it at WoWInterface.com. It only seems to happen with Inscription, but yeah, whenever you open ATSW for inscription, your FPS goes down to virtually nothing and your latency goes through the roof. It's not pretty.

Thanks, I'll have a look at ProfessonBook. Only last night someone was asking whether I could cut a certain gem, while I was on my enchanter. I didn't have a clue so something like this would be a godsend.
