Wizard101 Players Can Garden for a Good Cause

The new Gardening system officially launched in Wizard101 yesterday, allowing players to grow plants in their dorm rooms and castles. To celebrate both the launch of the new feature and the holiday season, KingsIsle Entertainment announced today that it is selling Giving Tree seeds in the in-game Crown Shop for a limited time to benefit two Texas organizations devoted to helping children.

Whenever a player purchases a Giving Tree seed for approximately $5, KingsIsle will evenly divide the net proceeds between the Austin Children's Shelter located in Austin, Texas, and Children's Medical Center at Legacy, a pediatric hospital located in Plano, Texas. If you plan on gardening in Wizard101, you should consider growing a Giving Tree for a good cause!
