35% Off Armored Bloodwing and Blossoming Ancient

For this week only, two in-game World of Warcraft items are on sale in the Blizzard store: the Blossoming Ancient pet, and the Armored Bloodwing mount.

Currently available for $16.25, the giant, flesh-eating bat that is the Armored Bloodwing is account-wide and automatically scales to the fastest riding skill known by each character you choose to soar into battle with.

The Blossoming Ancient is now $6.50 and can be used in pet battles or simply as a companion. These 'spirited saplings' change color with the seasons but hurry, because these offers only last until June 3.

Filling the Gap Between Expansions

World of Warcraft is currently in an awkward place at the moment, with players wondering how to pass the time while waiting for the next expansion. With a December release of Warlords of Draenor looking more and more likely, I'm here to share some of things that are keeping me interested in the game.

Azeroth Choppers - Which Faction Will Win the War?

Paul Jr of American Chopper fame has been hard at work for the past six weeks creating two real-life choppers for World of Warcraft, one to represent the Alliance, and the other, the Horde. This week, WoW players will get to vote on which one is the best, with the winning chopper to go into the game as a mount for the victorious faction.

World of Artcraft: Class Accessories

The latest in a string of Artcraft blogs by World of Warcraft artists shows that new 'class accessories' are being worked on, which will allow players to greater customize the appearance of their characters. While still in the concept phase, the idea is a good one and the initial designs look promising.

World of Warcraft Crash Courses

World of Warcraft players who purchase in-game character boosts are now being offered helpful advice on how to play their fresh level 90s, in official 'crash course' videos released by Blizzard themselves. 

The 2-3 minute long videos, made by Community Manager Lore, are designed to be a brief introduction to each of the eleven classes available, giving players the tools they need in order to start enjoying content right away. Each video focuses on the simplest of class specializations and features an overview of important abilities that should be used.

Tickets will be on sale via EventBrite for $199 in two batches on May 7th (at 7pm PT) and May 10 (at 10am PT), and there's been some changes this year so brush up on the changes to be prepared. Tickets for a pre-BlizzCon Benefit Dinner will also be for sale on Wednesday, May 14th at 7pm PT for $750 each.
