FINAL FANTASY XI

[Important Update Details]

Following changes have been made to the Campaign:

-Headhunting has been implemented and freelancers can now be found in the appropriate areas.

-The length of time NPCs standby before engaging in battle has been reduced.

-The interval of time between Region Information updates has been shortened.

-Campaign battles consisting solely of Allied Forces' NPCs, the results of which were previously not reflected in the Region Information, will now be reflected.

-Campaign battles will now continue until the attacking forces have been annihilated. Should this not occur after one hour (Earth time), the forces will withdraw.

-The NPCs of the Allied Forces have been strengthened.

-The disparity in levels between each army's NPCs has been lessened.

-Player assessments will now be conducted automatically following completion of a Campaign battle.
Should a player be KO'd, assessment will take place immediately upon reviving unless the player leaves the area in which the Campaign battle took place.

-Upon successful completion of the Campaign Ops entitled "Offensive Operations, Smokescreen I - III" or "Defensive Operations, Aegis Scream I - III," the player may receive confirmation by talking to the NPC from whom they undertook the quest, rather than having to speak to a Campaign Arbiter.
*As before, players are still required to speak to a Campaign Arbiter in order to undergo an assessment of their Campaign battle performance.

-Fortifications in areas held by the Beastman Confederate are now capable of being attacked.

-Morale and prosperity ratings totaling zero following a Campaign tally will now be supplemented.

-An issue wherein only the Yagudo Theomilitary's prosperity rating would suffer penalties during Campaign tallies has been addressed.

-An issue wherein the monsters Kyo and Pya summoned by the NPC Lhu Mhakaracca would not disappear under certain circumstances has been addressed.

-When participating in Campaign battles, the following NPCs will no longer attack Campaign-specific monsters:
Gold Badger Esquire / 4th Legionnaire / Piscean Caster / Clan Bear Fighter / Bo'Dho's Shieldwarrior / Divine Pilgrim

Following issues have been addressed:

-An issue wherein multiple-attacks would not cease despite the requirements for the multiple-attack no longer being fulfilled has been addressed for the following monsters:
Tres Duendes / Unstable Cluster / Aries / Mystic Avatar / Luaith / Bloody Daggers / Demonic Rod / Living Staves / Cursed Axe / Magic Shields / Hamadryad / Temenos Ghrah / Goblin Preceptor / Jailer of Prudence / Wabjahl

-An issue wherein the strength of the notorious monsters Roc and Simurgh found in Nyzul Isle was not in keeping with original settings has been addressed.

-Assorted other issues have also been addressed.

yep, nyzul isle assault, where practically any NM can randomly appear on floors. The level of the NM however is adjusted to that of the mobs in nyzul i believe. For example, you could encounter jaggedy-eared-jack which is normally very weak, but inside nyzul his level will be adjusted so he is not as weak.

I think you still have to be part of a campaign to attack the stongholds, but now you can actually target the towers. Before, you could only damage them with aoe.
