Port Battle Timeslots for Servers Adjusted

According to the Pirates of the Burning Sea Web site , the Port Battle Timeslots for the Antigua and Rackham servers have been adjusted. This change comes after the developers collected feedback from players and evaluated their own data. They would still like more fan feedback, which can be given here .

Here's the battle schedule for each server:

Antigua: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. PST (3 p.m. - 5 a.m. GMT)
Blackbeard: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. PST (5 p.m. - 5 a.m. GMT)
Rackham: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. PST (3 p.m. - 5 a.m. GMT)
Roberts: 3 a.m. - 3 p.m. PST (11 a.m. - 11 p.m. GMT)

Here's the full update, posted here .

Based on feedback from our community, we have adjusted the Port Battle Timeslots for Antigua and Rackham. It is important to note that these values are easily adjusted, and we will be closely monitoring the impact of these changes in an effort to mitigate any problems that may arise. Please see below for the updated schedule:

Many of you will recall the Devlog published by Pirates of the Burning Sea Lead Designer, Kevin ‘Isildur' Maginn that outlined our approach to addressing the issue of Off-Peak Port Battles, or night flipping. You can find that Devlog by clicking this link.

Now that we've had time to collect your feedback and evaluate our own data, a port battle schedule has been created for each one of our servers:

Antigua: 7am-9pm PST (3pm-5am GMT)
Blackbeard: 9am-9pm PST (5pm-5am GMT)
Rackham: 7am-9pm PST (3pm-5am)
Roberts: 3am-3pm PST (11am-11pm GMT)

This means that battles will only occur in the scheduled time slots listed above. Each time slot falls on an even hour on the clock, and every server has a 12 hour window for battles, or 12 battle slots total throughout a single 24 hour day. We believe this system is a step in the right direction, but we are looking for your feedback before the port battle schedule is officially implemented. Please take a moment to visit the discussion on our forums and let us know what you think.
