Here's a big announcement I just got from Sony. For clarification, this is not an expansion in the same sense of the Everquest PC expansions. The game will come on a disk that includes everything from the original game plus all of the new features of the second edition. Thus, Frontiers is actually a new version of the game rather than just an expansion of the existing version.
