The Scourge Invades Azeroth

The Lich King's armies from Northrend have begun to invade the rest of Azeroth and a battle is waging within Orgimmar. Most of the action is within the Valley of Honor where Thrall and Lady Sylvanas both fight side by side to repel the invasion. This is only the start of the events that will lead up to the launch of Wrath of the Lich King on November 13th.

The event seems to be repeating itself every 30 minutes so you have plenty of time to check it out. There is one piece of information that was made perfectly clear during this event, the Horde prepares for war!

Please join us in our forums to discuss the event and make sure to send us new information as the event unfolds!

Well this is not just a Org event it is also happening in Stormwind harbor and it was rather cool ta see it all going on last night before i went to bed. All the Draco Liches flying overhead the big stinking fugle's getting their butts beat on by all us 70's that showed up was all rather fun. i got in on three different spawning of the event myself before 2 am eastern, so if your alliance an you wanna see this just head to SWH an forget ORG.

How they got that printscreen if the servers are offline entire day!?
Tomorrow could be pretty worse, if the traffic beat a record of lag and bugs after the update/expansion/massive loggin.

The event went live sometime yesterday before this epic server outage that'll never end (don't quote me on that, quote the monkey). I witnessed it a couple of times yesterday.

I wonder what was planned for today in the event that we are all subsequently missing...

Well the post sounds very exciting. Would love to take a few Alliance toons to Orgimmar and see the sights while beating down the Scourge, but wait... I can't... because the entire system has been down for almost 10 hours.

Anybody want the franchise selling Rolaids and Tums to Blizzard execs, only 1.5 days before the xpac rollout?

: - )
COOL

YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!

If we were prepared for war, we'd be lvl 80 by now and be decked out in some T7 and in welfare epics along with S5-S6 gear whenever those come out. Also we'd have an army of OP ret pallies backed up by frost mages and BM hunters, with a few Healadins and Priests for heals. But sadly DK's will have to wait to be ready for war seeing as they are just going to go into Outland as we enter Northrend, it's like they missed the memo..."Hey guys forgot to mention we are going to Northrend hope to see ya soon!"
little disappointing

I was first really excited to see news of the event but after heading over to ORG I was rather disappointed. Mostly consisted of Thrall and company running around beating up a couple of undead while the majority of the fight was by level 70 taurens with 4k health shooting at the dragons. There was very little exciting action. I really hope there is more to this because so far its a little disappointing.
