Are you a gamer who quit playing Lord of the Rings Online but are intrigued by the updates that have been implemented in Book 7: Leaves of Lorien? If that describes you, then you might want to return to Middle-earth this weekend. Turbine is welcoming back old players during an extended weekend of free gameplay, starting Thursday (which is today for some of us) and ending March 31.

While returning players get to try out the new content for free this weekend, all players receive a +25% experience boost from mob kills. So whether you're a current or past Lord of the Rings Online player, this would be a good weekend to sign in. The bonus experience even stacks with rest experience!
