Under this new HoloNet category, the team plans to talk about some of SW:TOR's most notable figures and their backgrounds

In this weeks update, BioWare has added a brand new section to their Star Wars: The Old Republic website (called the HoloNet). This new section, Biographies, will shed new light and information on key figures in the SW:TOR world. If BioWare continues to update their Biographies section with new characters on a weekly basis, then players who are new to the world of Star Wars may have a much easier time learning about this expansive universe.

At the moment, the Biographies section of the HoloNet only has three characters, one for each faction (The Empire, The Independents and The Republic), but there are expectations that, like other sections of the HoloNet, BioWare will be filling this with tons of new information over the next coming weeks.
