Choose an advanced class during the course of the game to specialize your character's play style

Star Wars: The Old Republic has updated their website with information on the Advanced Class System. Each class in SW:TOR will be able to choose one of two different advancements that specialize how they play their class.

From the SW:TOR website:

"All Smugglers are lucky, opportunistic swindlers. But, do you want to be the kind of Smuggler that sneaks into the middle of a firefight and quickly blasts away at an opponent from point-blank range? Or do you want to be the kind that keeps to the outskirts of the battle, strategically picking your targets from a distance?"

They also spoke about choosing an advanced class as a Sith Warrior. Are you the kind of player that wants to charge right into the front of your opponent's offense or would you rather stay at a distance and use more strategy? Choosing an advanced class will augment these play styles with specifically tailored upgradable skills. They say the choice you make when choosing an advanced class is just as important as your original class choice at the beginning of the game and will help you become better at the way you naturally like to play.
