As we expected, the forum thread for the Cataclysm Closed Beta Key Contest was truly epic, but we've pulled all fifty names out of our enormous hat. Like we stated in the contest rules, the winners were randomly selected, but we did check all of the users' posts to make sure they adhered to the eligibility guidelines. Well, that was kinda dumb, i think they should have had more than 50 winners i mean there where like 200pages of replies and like 5-6 replies per page so i mean thats kinda unfair odds, but oh well, gratz to the winners, better luck next time for us loserz i guess

Grats guys, though for some reason I didn't think it was going to be a random chance and people would read the replies and judge them. I'm not a sore loser it's just a bit annoying seeing people put effort into this in hopes of getting a well deserved beta key. And then seeing that a fair amount of people who won just replied with a 1 liner that any 5 year old could string together. Anyway thanks to zam for giving people this oppertunity. Thanks

Sad and Disappointed. story of my wow life stuff rarely ever goes my way and when it does it's usually after nobody wants or needs in anymore shoulda known it wasn't gonna win. *goes back and sits in a corner* maybe another time.

I'm rather amazed that people with fewer than 10 posts are complaining that they didn't win the "loot roll".

There are hundreds of people here, who have been on Allakhazam for years, who didn't win either.

Just because you have fewer than 10 posts doesn't mean you haven't been using this site for a long time. I've just never felt the need to post anything till the beta key contest.

Agree completely! I am pre-10 and am actually just recently registered, but have been a viewer of ZAM for much more than 10 ;)

Incidentally, thanks for the opp ZAM... hope another one comes soon.
