The new Auction System is here!
For anyone who has stood and shouted in towns, trying to sell your wares, we now have a much better system for buying and selling items - the Auction System! You can view available auctions from anywhere in the world by going to the new Auction menu, entering your criteria and browsing what is available and placing or viewing bids.
In order to put items up for auction, you will need to interact with a banker and choose the auction option.
Choose a non-stackable, non-lore, tradable item from the bank inventory and enter the auction menu screen. The auction screen has different parameters that must be set: Min price, max price, and auction time.
Minimum Price - This price cannot be lower than what a NPC merchant would pay you for it if you were to sell it to them.
Maximum Price - This is the buyout price of the item. If it is reached, the auction is ended. The seller can choose not to set a maximum price.
Auction Time - The auction time can be set in 1hr increments from 12hrs to 72hrs
IMPORTANT NOTE - selling: Once an item is up for auction, it is frozen in the bank and cannot be removed until the auction ends (minimum of 12 hours).
Only place items up for auction that you truly mean to sell.
IMPORTANT NOTE - buying: Only bid on items you truly mean to bid on, as that amount of money will be frozen in your bank until the auction is completed.
