Qho's Misadventures!

Cyliena and Qho tackle several adventures in another original story!

Qho Augren has made a permanent impression upon many of being the brattiest child that Norrath has ever seen. Hailing from the Village of Shin, he nagged us time and time again to bring him back a multitude of harvests whenever we returned to him. The most recent Gathering Obsession quest had a unique twist however: Qho became a pet that follows us around!

I'm sure many people had fun jumping off of cliffs or battled the nastiest of beasts with him in tow, but I saw the opportunity to teach Qho more about harvesting... and the world beyond. Qho has now visited a wide variety of places with me, posed for many pictures and even provided a point of amusement as unsuspecting players on my server have hailed my Qho pet over and over, likely wondering why he didn't give them a quest.

I've had Qho as a pet since before I related the first story of his Brewday Adventures. A good deal of time and two world events have passed since then and Qho has stood steadfastly by my side throughout it all. Continue reading for more tales of Qho's exciting adventures!

My Dear Readers,

I must say that I was overwhelmed by the correspondence I received regarding my first story. I thank you all for your support and enjoyment in the Brewday tale, as well as emphasize with your relating the annoyances that Qho Augren has wrought upon your lives.

After the Bristlebane celebrations had come to a close I had fully intended to pen another story for my supporters. The very morning I sat down and began reviewing my notes I had a knock on my door. A royal note bearer had come by with summons from Queen Antonia Bayle herself. Of course I could not refuse such a summons and Qho and I quickly headed off for the castle.

We arrived and Qho met the queen, who had heard of the boy's interests from her many retainers. She sent him on a tour of her castle with the guards while she and I discussed the primary reason of my being summoned to her majesty's presence. I fear that, aside from stating that she honored me by entrusting me with a mission of great importance, I still cannot divulge this information.  I returned Qho to his mother for the few months that I was away.

I returned to Mara recently and reunited with Qho and had a long chat with his mother. The boy had regaled her with stories of what we had done in our time together and, despite my belief that she would be upset by my failure to take Qho to Velious, she was actually quite impressed that her son was learning more of the world outside of their small village.

With her blessing to keep Qho with me for "as long as I could possibly want," we set off again on a small adventure before returning to my home to set his tales on paper. Qho and I both hope that you forgive the long interruption and enjoy the story!
