ZAM's Fan Faire Costume Contest Photo Gallery

We took photos of every entry in the SOE Fan Faire costume contest. Check out the gallery and see who won best in show!

SOE Fan Faire came to a close on Saturday night with the grand banquet and costume contest, and we were there to take photos of every costume that crossed the stage. Above you'll see the top winners of the contest, who certainly turned a few heads as they walked through Bally's hotel and casino in Las Vegas. The EverQuest II ratonga on the left won the best in show award. Her mouth moved when she talked!

Click here to visit our Fan Faire costume contest photo gallery and view every contestant's costume.

If you look closely, you'll find our very own Calthine dressed as a level 90 woodworker looking for work in EverQuest II! You can also see which costumes received awards from the audience.

Which costumes are your favorite? Let us know in the comments below!

I personally like the fanny pack that the person left on for the pictures. It really adds to the costume.

WOWSERS! What am amazing group of costumely talanetd people. The four who won really had some insane competition. The Gingerbread boy, the Storm trooper (who looks like a NY cabbie from the future), the bling Fae, the mages robes, the Othmir.....did she do the dance on stage?

I liked 'em all and that includes the Greenmist ogre ))

The aviak couple...were they the two who got married last year?

Didja get video of the Ratonga talking?

Thanks for posting the photos!

I can get you pictures or video of the Ratonga mouth moving. I made it for my sister for her costume. Yes the Ratonga is a she. lol. We created her outfit together though. She did the sewing and I did the detail work. We had alot of fun with it.

Yes, the Aviak couple were the two who got married. Also, I'm afraid we didn't get video of the Ratonga talking. Basically the bottom part of the mouth moved up and down.

My wife Turlach (Bertox Server) did the Harpy and definitely had more than a few children and adults crying. This was definitely the toughest year of competition yet when it comes to detail. Simply awesome job to all the participants!

Your wife really did do a great job! She gave my sister, the Ratonga, a run for her money. Out of all the other costumes there I think hers was the best, besides my sisters of course. :) I'm glad they both won the contests.

Your wife's costume was amazing! She really did a great job bringing the costume to life, both in detail and how she walked. It was awesome to watch her make her way through the crowd around Bally's.

My favorite was when she accidental freaked the Littlest Pirate and we enabled the pirate by giving her a wand.. and she chased the harpy all around the Lounge!

The harpy was a great costume, loved that the wings even moved! Congrats her on the hard work from me! Smiley: nod
