Carbine Asks for Thoughts on Griefing in MMOs

Head over to our new WildStar Source site to join in on the discussion!

Carbine Studios just asked its latest Community Uplink question on the official @Team_WildStar Twitter page: "What are your thoughts on griefing in the modern MMO?" You can participate in the discussion by using the #WSUplink hashtag on Twitter.

UPDATE: Producer Troy Hewitt has asked a related question: "Have you engaged in behavior that someone called griefing, but you considered gameplay?"

The question was spawned from an article by Gazimoff on Mana Obscura. During the first Community Uplink discussion on in-game events, Producer Troy Hewitt asked Gazimoff which anti-griefing tools he'd like to see added to the game. Gazimoff responded with a lengthy blog post that looks at the problem of griefing and some possible solutions. In fact, the article recently sparked some discussion in our WildStar Source forums.

So what are your thoughts on griefing in the modern MMO? Which problems, such as spamming, bother you the most? Which anti-griefing tools would you like to see implemented in WildStar? Head over to our new WildStar Source site and let us know what you think!
