Brad McQuaid Rejoins Vanguard Team
That's...a thing.
I'm not sure what to say about it other than, "This is A Thing," but Brad McQuaid has returned to Vanguard as a developer. For those of you unaware of the history, Brad McQuaid was one of the original creators of EverQuest, just before it was picked up by Johnathan Smedly and Verant Interactive, and turned into the first MMORPG. You can trace practically everything that has been done by MMOs, before World of Warcraft, before City of Heroes, to Everquest. But after Verant got bought out by Sony Online Entertainment, McQuaid went off to create Vanguard, which went through a turbulent history before being published by SOE as well. He explains things that are planned for the MMO's F2P conversion, like quest rewards and exploration of zones.
