Arctic Combat - It's like World War III
Open beta starts this week with a new game mode and two new maps
As winter rolls into the Northern hemisphere, there's probably no better time to check out a new MMO set in the frigid arctic, wouldn't you say?
Webzen announced today that the open beta for Arctic Combat will begin on December 6th for both Europe and America. That's this Thursday if you are keeping track!
Along for the ride with this beta build are two new maps - Silo and Quarter Blow - as well as an all-new game mode called Annihilation:
"In this new mode, players begin matches unarmed and have to pick up weapons that are placed around the map in order to defeat their opponents. The beta test version of Arctic Combat includes a total of 8 game modes, 8 maps and 19 weapon variants. Players can join matches with up to 16 players."
Arctic Combat is a free-to-play multiplayer online first-person tactical shooter (MMOFPS) set in World War III. A simple dispute over resources escalates and sets the stage for a rematch of the cold-war era standoff between the United States and Russia. Except there's nothing cold about this war.
Stay tuned to ZAM for more Arctic Combat open beta coverage later this week!
