Stalker Dev's MMOFPS beta in 4th quarter 2013
Survarium beta slated to begin before the end of the year
Vostok Games, founded by Ex-Stalker developers after GSC Game World shut down, updated us on their plans for what 2013 will hold for their upcoming MMOFPS Survarium.
The big standouts are the Alpha version, with the start of fans being invited to play in small numbers, coming in Q2 2013 and the much more fleshed out Beta version coming by the end of the year in Q4. Between these two releases, we can expect many core features of the game to be added to the Alpha such as a basic clan system, the global map that qualifies the MMO half of the MMOFPS tagging, and the modability of your equipment system, presumably including guns.
Survarium will be providing PvP systems during the beta, with PvE options coming after the beta release at the end of the year. Vostok Games also explained that the beta is intended to function like Open Beta, but reserves the right to limit the influx of players if it means better server stabilitiy for the Alpha players and new users.
