The third installment of Flame and Frost will be released on March 26.

Guild Wars 2 fans can look forward to the latest installment of the four-part Flame and Frost series on March 26. Titled The Razing, this update will see players pitted against the Flame Legion, an allied army comprised of the dredge and the charr that aims to completely demolish Tyria. The Flame Legion will emerge through fiery portals in the Shiverpeaks, razing settlements and massacring everyone in their way as they move across the land. 

New features introduced with this update include the following:

• Two new NPCs -- Players can team up with the norn Braham and the charr Rox in defense of their homeland.
• Spy posts built by the dredge -- These will be dispersed throughout the Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer Foothills and can be destroyed by players in an attempt to quell the Flame Legion threat.
• New bounty targets -- Guilds can go up against a golem called 2-MULT, a hylek known as Big Mayana and Yanonka the Rat-Wrangler, an ogre with a bevy of pet rats.
• A Bounty Hunt training mission -- Are you part of a smaller guild that hasn't had much luck participating in guild missions? Well, not to worry! Designed with smaller and more casual guilds in mind, this training mission will give guilds the ability to experience bounty hunting on a smaller scale while still providing access to guild content.

World vs. World Updates

World vs. World has been revamped in The Razing with the much-anticipated elimination of culling, which should come as a welcome relief to many players, as well as a new WvW progression system. Players will earn World Experience (WXP) for participating in WvW events and defeating enemy players. WXP can unlock World Ranks, which can be used to purchase new titles and abilities that are exclusive to WvW. Guild Wars 2 leaderboards will appear up to a week after the release of The Razing and will feature WvW rankings, PvP player rankings, and total achievement points.
