The Mighty Quest Holds Open House Event

To celebrate Closed Beta, Ubisoft's new F2P hack & slash holds open house event and contest

If you're like me and watched Ubisoft's presentation at E3 this year, you probably already went and registered for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot's beta right after they showed off the trailer. Of course if you wanted to jump in the game right away, you might have gone ahead and bought the Double-O Pack from the site for guaranteed beta access, but the rest of us have just been waiting for our chance to jump into the game. Luckily that chance is coming soon as TMQEL is holding an Open House event to celebrate going into Closed Beta and players who signed up for the beta or the Open House will have a few days to play the game as well as the chance to win prizes.

The Open House starts today at 10am Pacific time and players will be able to continue raiding the keeps of their fellow Opulencians until July 5th at 3pm Pacific. As for the prizes at stake, five lucky players will win a TMQEL shirt and 1000 others will get their own Closed Beta keys, allowing them to continue playing past the end of the Open House event.

So how do you win said swag? Just play the game during the event and you're in the running for the prizes. Merely getting the invitation isn't enough though--you will have to log in and play, but given that it's a beta you signed up for, that seems like a small price to pay.

If you missed the chance to register for the Closed Beta before now, unfortunately you won't be able to get into the Open House event.

This doesn't mean you can't still get into the TMQEL beta though; you can still register for the Closed Beta and wait for another wave of invites, or you can bypass the whole process and buy one of the Double-O Packs for instant beta access. I have got the client installed and ready to go this week, so hopefully I'll have some first impressions ready for everyone in the near future. Maybe I'll even see a few of you in Opulencia this week. Granted, you'll probably be sacking my keep and making a mockery of my defenses, but let's not dwell on that.
