Infinite Crisis: Atomic Wonder Woman
The latest multiverse spin on an icon appears with a chainsaw-wielding Diana
The multiverse in DC Comics allows fans to get a peak at their favorite heroes moulded by different circumstances. In Infinite Crisis, the champions you play are inspired by the joys of multi-dimensional theory and the latest hero epitomizes just how different things can get.
Atomic Wonder Woman was born in a world much like ours, where the planet stood on the brink of nuclear armageddon through the dark times of the Cold War. The difference being in her world, a certain object in space that exploded above a small town in Kansas triggered World War III.
This "Mad Max" Diana wields a "chainsaw of justice"—a phrase I don't think has ever been used before—to deal heavy burst damage, combined with quick movement to get in and out of ganking range. Not just a different visual flavor to her classic Wonder Woman counterpart, Atomic Wonder Woman has a very different playstyle and role.
Will you be swinging a chainsaw as your weapon of choice in Infinite Crisis?
