Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Revealed

The name of Brad McQuaid's upcoming MMO has been unveiled.

Brad McQuaid has been hinting at having an MMO in the works since last year's layoffs at Sony Online Entertainment. With so many developers jobless in the area, he took the opportunity to bring together a team for a still unnamed company and work on his latest vision.

That faceless MMO finally has a name.

Twitter user Gogojira did some hunting last week and uncovered the MMO's twitter account. Despite the domain registration being listed as an SOE property, McQuaid has commented that there is no connection (we're assuming that the fact that Salim Grant, a former SOE employee, registered the domain is likely the cause).

Not too much else is known about the project. We know that there will be a Kickstarter for it "launching soon" [source], that the theme is "challenging epic planar high fantasy" [source] which is a "modern, challenging, group-focused MMO Game" [source], that there will be "a long beta" and "minimum three years to release" [source], and that the above pictured gentleman is called Oranthel, God-King of Skyfen [source]. In the meantime we'll await the company's official site launch and Kickstarter project!

Brad McQuaid in relation to any MMO = Failure.

Rise of the Fallen? Is he talking about himself?
