The Tropico 5 PC global release date has been announced! It will be available globally on May 23rd, with the US retail release following shortly afterward on May 27th. Kalypso Media has relaunched the official site with a new look and information about the upcoming title.

Steam users can add the game to their wish list currently, and the DE retail and UK retail versions can be preordered now from the official site. The US retail version is not available for preorder yet, but is coming soon.

XBox 360 and Mac users will see the game out for their platforms this summer, and PlayStation 4 is due out in autumn. Kalypso is also working on an extensive Steam OS (Linux) version, which will release with the respective new hardware.
