BlizzCon 2014 is making its way around again in just a few short days, and this year there's even more Heroes of the Storm information and events headed your way!
Beginning Friday, November 7th at 3:30pm PT, members of the Heroes art and design teams will be conducting a "Heroes of the Storm Overview" on the convention's main stage. There they will be showing off what kind of game Heroes of the Storm is, for those who are unfamiliar, as well as giving fans a glimpse of what's on the horizon for the game's development.
Later that evening, beginning at 5:00pm, the "BlizzCon Brawl" will commence and two teams of popular youtube personalities will face off in a best-of-three series match-up. The players representing the "Blue Team" consist of the one and only, Jesse Cox, Eric "Crendor" Hrab, Mike "Husky" Lamond, SMOSH Matt Sahinki and SMOSH Dave "Lasercorn" Mass. Representing the "Red Team" for the event will be NERDIST Malik Forte and ROCKETJUMP Freddie Wong, ROCKETJUMP Jimmy Wong, ROCKETJUMP Matt Arnold and ROCKETJUMP Josh Kee Kwai.
Beginning at 7:00pm, Immediately after the BlizzCon Brawl, the BlizzCon Heroes of the Storm Exhibition Tournament kicks off. The tournament features professional eSports teams Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, Fnatic, and Team Liquid, as they battle it out in-game for BlizzCon glory and bragging rights.
If all of the Friday Heroes action wasn't enough for you, there will be a "Sounds of the Nexus" panel on Saturday beginning at 10:00am on the main stage. Members of the audio team will be discussing, and demonstrating, the process behind creating all of the clangs, clashes, explosions and snarky comments that you hear throughout the Nexus. At 12:45pm there will be a Heroes of the Storm "Deep Dive" panel discussing the hero creation process in the game and what it takes to build team-based objective gameplay mechanics across various maps.
Finally, wrapping up the plethora of Heroes-related festivities will be the Heroes tournament pre-show starting at 2:00pm, followed immediately by the final tournament match at 2:15pm.
