Bethesda at E3: Conference Highlights

Here's a brief recap of the highlights for Bethesda's Sunday night press conference.

With more press conferences added to the E3 mix this year, Bethesda took the reigns Sunday to kick things off. New games such as Elder Scrolls Legends and Dishonored 2 were announced, and the studio also highlighted Fallout 4 and Doom.

Doom: Bethesda showed off a snapmap tool to create mod content. Doom is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC in Spring 2016.

Battlecry: If you sign up for the global beta before June 18th you get priority beta access.

Arkane Studios has announced Dishonored 2. Will be on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC. Dishonored: Definitive Edition will be available this fall with enhanced graphics for PS4 and Xbox One.

Elder Scrolls Legends, a strategy card game, has been announced.

Fallout 4 starts 200 years after a nuclear event, with you as the sole survivor. Dynamic open world, can play as a male or female. There is a dog you can issue commands to; setting is downtown Boston. There will be a Pip-Boy with the physical Collector's Edition of the game, that will hold your phone and has an app (following this announcement, LootCrate posted a teaser tweet).

Your character can rebuild structures for settlements during gameplay. There's power generators and the works to help with setting up defenses for your settlements. Thousands of items in the game world can be used as components for crafting and modifying both weapons and armor. Fallout 4 will be released November 10, 2015.

Bethesda has made a Fallout Shelter iOS app where you can make and control the people in your own vault. Will be free, no paywall timers, no internet connection needed. Launches tonight on the AppStore. Android version is coming later on.
