If you are a programmer who has worked on a game of this scope, then maybe you can scrutinize. Few people understand what it takes to do things of this magnitude. |

you need high tradeskills to complete the quest on your own. you finish the quest by combining 9 different tradeskill-made-items in a container, but i hear you can buy all the individual pieces for around 16k. |

I don't really play EQ much anymore (lucky if I get 2 hours a week), but I just gotta say it sort of makes me mad I played a mage since it came out and no changes were made (that helped a lot, most were nerfs). Then, beastlords come out, and with all the new people wanting to play it, pet classes b |

Ya ever notice that druids are usualy the ones that have a lot of high skills? Most people that bother with trade skills do one per character, but druids seem to do ALOT of skills. I can't belive it's just for the coldain prayer shawl (though you notice that there are a lot more druids out there wit |

Of course druids have several trades mastered. Very few places are good at supporting multiple tradeskills, so druids with thier ports can just pop in at the best spot to buy/farm whatever is needed for the next step. I have not devoted much time to my trades, and I have already mastered 5 differe |

I think that Verant gears the items towards the level required for a Group to get it.
So I don't really think that they are en |

On uber mobs, HP tends to be greater than AC, even for MA's. After 1450ac, more is almost usless, even 1100 is enough -- just have good HP. I could see this being usefull to MA classes as well quite easily. More HP=more time to wait for that CH. As a shadowknight, I MA in xp groups more often th |

It's because druids can actually go get all these things. Ingredients are often scattered. There's lots of pottery supplies in Rivervale, but no firing sheets. There's lots of smithing supplies in Kelethin, but no mithril. Lots of smithing supplies in Felwithe too where the mithril is, but no fo |

Another theory, and definitely one of the reasons my druid has a lot of high trade skills, is that they tend to overlap when you get higher in them. I origingally only worked on tailoring, but I needed brewing and smithing for tailoring components. Then I did the prayer shawl quests, and cooking a |

Actually, my druid took up first brewing and then baking in self defense -- she was tired of running around with her pockets overflowing with berries, fruit, vegetables, etc. But once you start doing one or two skills, you do run into the interdependence of one trade on another. Due to how camped this quest ALWAYS is... many if not most do not get this item until in their 20's. By that time, it turns into more than just a slap. :)
