Actually, yes, the monocle is thought to be used in at least one other quest. There is a quest in Kael Drakkel for monk chest-straps. Though the info here on the quest is incomplete it seems rather obvious that this is one of the pieces needed.

Just to clarify a few things brought up in this thread here's a basic run down of the damage caps. There are two damage caps, one applies from level 1 to 10, the other one applies from 11 to 20. I don't remember exaclty what the cap is for 1 to 10, something like 15 damage, but the cap from 11 to |

I believe they've said it before...the GM's that is...that ANY no drop items left in a forge, pottery wheel, etc etc will disappear if you exit that window...because otherwise you could transfer no drop items across characters and i don't think they want that...lol

Damage bonus is based off the level of your character. This is a high lvl person that took the screen shot above. For the lvl intended for this weapon there will be no dmg bonus. |

If you kill the Bloodsaber Defiler, a caster (which afflicted me one time with 8 different spells) and return the head, you get a dull Pine Scimitar, Lore Item, which becomes its own quest.
The quest requires that you sharpen it in a forge (NO Blacksmith skill required) with sharpening stones (ne |

The reward for turning in the head of Yollis Jenkins is not the Pine Scout Longsword, but a rusty pine scout sword. This is an ingredient for the quest for the actual Pine Scout Longsword.
You must first sharpen the rusty sword in a forge with a sharpening stone (obtainable in Halas), and return |

I think it would be safe to assume that if you had two batskull earrings on it would increase your chances of the affect "proc'ing". Two earrings = 2 chances for reagent to be conserved. |
