Two points here. If you happen to be a druid who has wolf form, this is NOT the area to use it in. I made that mistake my first time through and ended up getting killed by a named barbarian and a big friggin' polar bear named Iceberg. Just a FYI.

Yes, the Gorge is an excellent place to hunt, though one must be careful. There are few, if any, to help you should you find yourself with more trouble than you can handle. I am sure the halflings of Rivervale appreciate your efforts in combatting the evil so close to their homes.

What i have done to help remember to raise my Forage (and sense Heading) skills is to macro it. got to "social" open a new box, i labaled mine "attack". on the first line put /doability1 on the second line put /doability2 etc... on the last line put /attack. you will now do the first, second, etc a |

Well it depends what lvl your guild is, the Herb shack is pretty hard to break with 1 group but can be done, i recommend:
60 War
60 Monk
60 Rog
55+ Druid/Wiz
55+ Cleric
55+ Chanter (Closer to 60 prolly better since most mobs 55)
