| do the quest its the best armor you can have until your character gets stronger. keep in mind your sk armor will buff all attributes and increase HP as well as AC.SK armor only really works when you have all pieces in place. Bronze Armor has better AC, but no str, sta, dex, agi, int,wis and hp buffs | ||||

| On EQDiva that same question was asked and the answer given was between 1250 and 1300. Not sure if there is one per level but since AC rating is based on Defense skill and not just armor I don't doubt that level plays factor. | ||||
